Cookie Policy

Which cookies we set, what each one does, and how to turn off the ones that are not essential.

01What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device. We also use similar technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage, and pixels in emails) and we refer to all of them as “cookies” here.

This policy sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally.

02The cookies we use

We keep this deliberately short. We do not run our own advertising or behavioural tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share cookie data for cross-context advertising.

Third-party names and lifetimes are set by those providers and can change without notice. Expiry ranges above reflect what they document at the time of writing.

03Why we group them that way

  • Essential: needed for the site to work at all: signing you in, keeping your session, taking payment securely, and blocking fraud. These cannot be switched off without breaking the service.
  • Functional: power features you asked for, like live chat and the review widget. Blocking them means those features stop working, but the rest of the site is fine.
  • Analytics and advertising: we currently set none. If that changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.

04How to control cookies

  • Browser settings: every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, either for all sites or per site. Look under Privacy or Site settings.
  • Blocking essential cookies will stop you signing in to the portal and stop checkout from completing.
  • Third-party controls: Zoho, Trustpilot and Stripe publish their own cookie and privacy notices, and you can opt out through them directly.
  • Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control: we do not currently respond to DNT headers, as there is no agreed standard. We honour GPC signals where applicable law requires it.

Email tracking: our service emails may include a pixel telling us whether the message was opened, so we know whether delivery notices reach you. Blocking remote images in your email client stops this.

05Changes & contact

We will update this page when the cookies we use change, and revise the “last updated” date above. Questions about cookies? Email hello@prflix.co.
